NCCE Civic Education Club Students Witness the Inauguration of the 4th Akwapim South Municipal Assembly

The NCCE - Akwapim South organized civic education club members of Presbyterian Senior High Technical School- Aburi to observe the inauguration of the 4th Assembly of the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly. The inauguration ceremony was held at the forecourt of the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly.

Hon. Frank Aidoo, Municipal Chief Executive of the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly, in his welcome address, urged assembly members to maintain close contact with their electorates.

Professor Ken Attafuah, Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority, who represented the President at the inauguration, congratulated the assembly members and charged them to carry out their duties effectively.

The Chairman of the occasion, Otobour Gyan Kwasi II, Aburihene, and Adontenhene of the Akwapim Traditional Council, touted the role of traditional authorities in the successes chalked by the assembly over the years.

The Magistrate of the Municipal Court, Her Worship Rhoda Kunsanah Donkor, administered the oath of office, allegiance, and secrecy to the new members.

The members of the Civic Education Club were given a detailed profile as well as operations of the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly by Ms. Vida Amoah, Human Resource Manager of the Akwapim South Municipal Assembly.
