The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has appealed to citizens to observe social distancing. The Commission made this appeal when a team from the Head Office and the district offices were engaging Communities in Greater Accra and Tema Metropolis on COVID-19.
The Tema West District Director of the NCCE, Mr. Fidel Bortey, urged all community members to adhere to safety protocols to help combat the spread of the Novel COVID-19.
The team also educated Ghanaians on the need to wash their hands frequently and thoroughly and the use of alcohol -based sanitizer.
In a related development, the Ablekuma North District in the Greater Accra region and Lambusie District office in the Upper West region have educated communities in their jurisdiction on the Coronavirus disease.
