NCCE and IFES, with USAID support, to Engage Greater Accra Youth on Political Accountability

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) with support from USAID will be engaging in-school and out of school Youth in selected Districts in the Greater Accra Region on Political Accountability. The Political Accountability Project is aimed at strengthening citizens’ knowledge on political finance, misinformation, disinformation, electoral violence, and abuse of state resources to create a peaceful and credible election in 2024. It also seeks to empower the youth with the knowledge and motivation to actively engage in the political process and exercise their democratic rights and responsibilities effectively.

These engagements will be piloted in six (6) Districts and will involve five (5) in-school activities and five (5) townhall meetings.
