Kwahu West Municipal office of the NCCE has organized Schools to witness the inaugural and induction of the newly elected Assembly members

The Kwahu West Municipal office of the NCCE has organized Ten selected Junior High Schools, and one Media College in the Municipality, to witness the inaugural and induction into office, of the newly elected Assembly members in Nkawkaw.

The schools were :

1. Presbyterian JHS

2. Opinamang JHS

3. St.Cecilia JHS

4. Anglican JHS

5. God is Able JHS

6. Blessed Redeemer JHS

7. Apostolic JHS

8. Obuoba Excellent JHS

9. TI Ahamadya JHS

10. Methodist JHS

11. EPM Media College

In an address by Mr. Peter Tetteh Kwablah, Municipal Coordinating Director for Kwahu West Municipality, he commended the seventy pupils and ten teachers from the selected schools for their participation.

Mr. Peter Tetteh Kwablah took the Assembly Members through the functions of the Assembly and the Sub-Committees. He proceeded to briefly highlight the functions of Assembly and Unit Committee Members.

In a presentation by a representative of the President of the Republic of Ghana, Dept. Minister for Justice and Attorney, Hon. Diana Asonaba commended the newly elected Assembly Members for their victory and urged them to work hard to promote development in their electoral areas. Also, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Lawyer Owusu Addo, and Member of Parliament Hon. Joesph Frimpong graced the occasion.
