The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced the detection of the COVID-19 Omicron Variant at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra. According to the Service, the variant has not yet been discovered within the community. Health authorities have given the assurance that COVID-19 protocols have been intensified at the Airport to prevent community spread.

Observe the COVID-19 safety protocols; mask up, wash your hands with soap under running water and sanitise your hands frequently with alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
