The Yendi Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Osman Kassim, has urged the youth to live in peace and harmony with one another in promoting National Cohesion and Peaceful co-existence. He added that the youth are essential players in maintaining peace and stability in Ghana.
Speaking at an engagement with students of the Dagbon State Senior High School, Mr. Kassim implored the students to respect the views of others and be tolerant. He reiterated the need to respect the national symbols and uphold their relevance.
He said values such as patriotism, respect, law-abiding, love for one another, and loyalty was the hallmark of every good citizen, adding that the youth must adopt them to ensure the development of the country.
