The Atiwa West District Office of the National Commission for Civic Education, NCCE in the Eastern Region with support from the Ministry of National Security has organised a workshop for members of the Atiwa District Inter-party Dialogue Committee. The workshop will serve as a platform to generate conversion on how to promote peace and national cohesion within the district. The programme is part of a series of nationwide activities by the NCCE under the theme, 'Empowering Ghanaians to stand for National Cohesion and Inclusive Participation".

The NCCE and the Ministry of National Security in the past months have actively been sensitising citizens in border communities on the need to safeguard the peace and security of Ghana.
