Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia joins campaign against illegal mining as he signs the petition

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has signed unto the signature campaign on the petition against illegal mining. The campaign is being spearheaded by the Media Coalition Against Galamsey. The Deputy Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs at the National Commission for Civic Education, NCCE, Rita Amparbin caught up with the Vice President on the sidelines of the Commission’s National Dialogue in Accra on Wednesday 14th June, 2017. The NCCE is a partner to the Media Coalition Against Galamsey and has so far presented eleven thousand, eight hundred and fourteen (11,814) signatures to the Steering Committee of the Coalition.
