True Faith Evangelical Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Asakraka in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region have received the NCCE to address their congregation on Child Protection issues.

The NCCE has prioritised Child Protection issues in its nationwide public outreaches. The Ghanaian child has well-defined basic rights in Chapter 28 of the 1992 Constitution and the public especially parents and guidance must be actively engaged to protect the interest of the child. The Commission has been engaging Faith-Based Organisations; churches and mosques, market women, women’s groups, and traders among others on child protection.

True Faith Evangelical Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church all at Asakraka in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region received the NCCE to address their congregation on Child Protection issues. The team was led by Daniel Appiah, a Principal Civic Education Officer.
