The National Commission for Civic Education, Nandom Municipal Office, was live on Nandom FM 101.9 MHz for a public Engagement on Tax Compliance. The purpose of the sensitization was to augment the government’s revenue mobilization drive in the Municipality.
The office, during the engagement, emphasized the types of taxes paid at the district level and at the national level and why there is a need for every citizen to pay their tax.
The Office also admonishes the District Assembly and other tax collectors to be transparent in their dealings to avoid resistance from taxpayers.
