NCCE UPPER MANYA KROBO STORMS ASESEWA METHODIST JHS ON ELECTORAL PROCESSES

This year's Citizenship Week Celebration, dubbed "Children, let us build Ghana together," took the Upper Manya Krobo Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to the Asesewa Methodist JHS for an engagement.

The engagement largely centred on the need for the pupils to be patriotic, rekindle their environmental consciousness, not engage in any violent acts, obey rules and regulations, and be civil in dealing with others.

The office, however, used the same period to take pupils through the right to vote and its related do's and don'ts. Notably, the office collaborated with the school's Electoral Committee as well as the Electoral Commission to conduct elections for all prospective candidates who stood for the various prefectorial positions for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Officers who took part in the engagement were Eric K. Yanney (District Director), Isaac Nartey (Assistant Director), Aseye Jiagge (ACEO), and Grace Lartey (PFO).
