The Asokore Mampong Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), in collaboration with the Kumasi Metro Office, participated in the launch of the Kumasi Academy Civic Education Club (KACEC) magazine and the handover ceremony for the club's newly elected leaders.
Representing the Kumasi Metro Office, Mr. Awal Iddrisu joined the event at the invitation of the Kumasi Academy Civic Education Club following the completion of the outgoing student leaders' West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

He encouraged students to demonstrate respect for differing opinions, noting that tolerance and constructive dialogue are essential to promoting peaceful coexistence and strengthening Ghana's democratic culture.
Madam Sarah Ansah, Assistant Headmistress (Domestic), speaking on behalf of the headmaster, reaffirmed the school's commitment to supporting the activities of the Civic Education Club. She commended the outgoing executives for their dedication and encouraged the newly elected leaders and members to be exemplary ambassadors of discipline, integrity, and responsible citizenship within the school community.
The program also featured the official launch of the club's magazine, showcasing the achievements and activities of the Civic Education Club, as well as the formal handover of leadership to a new team of student executives.
Also present at the event were the school's Chaplain, Rev. Kwame Anane, and the club's patrons, Mr. Kofi Agyapong, Madam Catherine Makafui, and Mr. Ebenezer Dontor, who witnessed the successful transition of leadership and pledged their continued support for the club's activities.
