The speaker highlighted the rationale behind the NCCE’s week-long celebration and the role NCCE has played in our thirty (30) years of consolidating constitutional democracy. He also explained to the congregations the benefits we have derived from our Fourth Republican Democracy with emphasis on development and national cohesion and thus urged them to always protect our democracy by exhibiting the values of tolerance, respect for each other, and patriotism, and defend the 1992 Constitution at all times against violence or abuse.

Finally, the speaker entreated the people especially the Women, Youth, and the Disabled to actively participate in the upcoming District Level Elections by exercising their franchise or as candidates for it is the means through which their basic developmental needs will be met.
