NCCE ENGAGES AMASAMAN BLOCK FACTORY WORKERS ON CIVIC ISSUES

The Ga West Municipal Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has engaged workers of the Amasaman Block Factory on environmental governance, cybercrime and security, and gender-based violence.

The engagement held at the Amasaman Block Factory formed part of the Commission's efforts to educate citizens on their rights, responsibilities, and the need to contribute to national development.

Speaking during the programme, resource persons Mr. Joseph Majoub and Mrs. Evelyn Aniakwah educated participants on the importance of protecting the environment, practising safe and responsible behaviour online, and preventing gender-based violence in society.

The participants were also encouraged to play an active role in promoting responsible citizenship, respect for human rights, and peaceful coexistence within their communities.
