Let’s uphold our values as Ghanaians - NCCE

The Effutu Office of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has engaged citizens in the municipality on the relevance of Constitution Week celebrations after 30 years of uninterrupted constitutional rule. The topic for the discussion was, “Sustaining our Democracy, Ghanaian Values in Practice”.

The Central Deputy Regional NCCE Director, Ms. Mercy Essien speaking on Radio Windy Bay, FM 98.3 within the Efutu Municipality, touched on the theme and explained to listeners the successes chalked up by Ghana in the last 30 years of constitutional rule. Ms. Essien also highlighted the Ghanaian values entreating citizens to uphold the respect, humility, patriotism, honesty, discipline, responsibility, integrity among others.

The Effutu Municipal Director, Joseph Abban also emphasized the objectives and significance of 28th April in the history of the 4th Republic. He also outlined some activities for the 2022 Constitution Week celebration.
