The Kwahu South Municipal Office of the NCCE has intensified its sensitization exercise on the COVID-19 vaccine. The team visited market centers, schools, Faith-Based Organizations, and Civil Society Organizations. The Office employed the use of one-on-one talk, open broadcast, and focus group discussions in this educational drive.
Citizens were urged to accept the vaccine as part of their civic responsibility to prevent the spread of the virus. They were assured that the vaccine is safe, effective, and free for all. The general public is advised to disregard propaganda messages of anti-vaccine campaigns as immunization has saved human lives for many years. They were encouraged to use leaders who have been vaccinated as evidence that the vaccine is safe and to go for it when the time is due.
For total protection, the public is advised to continue to observe the safety protocols especially the wearing of face masks always.
