As part of activities to mark Ghana's 68th Independence celebration, the Sekyere East District Office of the NCCE organised quiz competition dubbed "The Civic Challenge 2025"
In his opening remarks the district director Mr. Michael Boahene urged all participating schools to take civics seriously and embark on a journey of constitutional awareness as citizens.
Defending champions Effiduase Roman Catholic JHS emerged victorious beating Effiduase Demonstration JHS, Seventh Day Adventist JHS, Nsutem JHS and Tomhel JHS.
Citations were presented to the winner and runner up together with copies of abridged constitution, exercise books and NCCE branded pens.
Rev. Johnson Agyekum (IPDC Chairman), Mr. Patrick Asare-Mensah (Cocobod District Officer), Madam Bertha Zaazie (Chraj District Director) and Mr. Justice Setor (GES PRO) were some of the invited guest that graced the occasion held on Tuesday 4th March, 2025 at Effiduase Roman Catholic Church Auditorium.
