DEMONSTRATE GREAT GHANAIAN VIRTUES AT ALL TIMES, STUDENTS ADVISED

The Sefwi Akontombra District office of the National Commission for Civic Education has engaged pupils of the Akontombra Pentecost Basic School as part of the 2023 Citizenship Week Celebration. The engagement was on the theme, “30 Years of Constitutional Democracy, Building National Cohesion: The Role of the Ghanaian Child”.

The resource person was Mr. Philip Frimpong, a Health Promotion Officer. He reminded the pupils of their responsibilities as agents of change and future leaders. He urged the pupils to embrace the values of Patriotism, Discipline, Honesty, Hard work, and tolerance among other Ghanaian values to help build a strong vibrant, and peaceful democratic country.

Officers present were the NCCE District Director; Mr. Douglas Acquah, Senior Civic Education Officer (SCEO); Mr. Thomas Yarne, and Assistant Civic Education Officer (ACEO) Mr Ransford Yankey.
