Constitution Quiz: Denkyembour NCCE sparks awareness of Civic Responsibility among students

The month of March has been dedicated to celebrate our beloved country, Ghana, by all citizens, both in and out of the country. As the state institution in charge of providing civic education for the populace, the National Commission for Civic Education has employed various tactical means of engagement, which include a quiz competition among students in all districts nationwide.

It is in view of this that the Denkyembour District Office of the Commission has organized a constitution quiz competition among some schools within the district.

With questions emanating from areas such as the 1992 Fourth (4th) Republican Constitution, history of Ghana, and current affairs, it was a delight to watch the students exhibit their vast knowledge as they provided answers to questions asked.

Four schools, namely GCD D/A JHS, Al-Furquan JHS, Bright Vision JHS, and Liberty Academy, were selected as participants for the competition, which was held in the auditorium of Assemblies of God Church in Akwatia.

In a closing remark, the students were advised to take a keen interest in anything concerning the country as one of the ways they can contribute their quota to building the nation. Participants were presented with certificates of participation, copies of the 1992 Constitution, and some stationery in acknowledgement of their efforts.
