68th Independence Day Quiz Organised in Bodi, Western North Region

NCCE’s Bodi District office has organised a quiz competition for selected basic schools to commemorate Ghana’s 68th Independence Day celebration.

The competition featured four schools from three communities, including three public schools and one private school: Attaboka Anglican JHS, Denchemuasue R/C JHS, Bodi R/C JHS, and Presbyterian Preparatory School, Bodi.

The NCCE Bodi District Director, Mr. Emmanuel Awotwe emphasised the significance of the quiz under the Commission’s theme, "Ghana’s Future: Our Collective Responsibility." He reiterated that the youth also play a critical role in the development of Ghana. Thus, by engaging students through such initiative, they are well equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge to perform their civic duties excellently.

Dignitaries at the debate included the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Christian Lartey, the District Investigator of CHRAJ, Mr. Isaac Ofori, and officers from the Ghana Education Service (GES). All contestants from participating schools received prizes and certificates of participation.
