TEMA WEST NCCE GETS NEW OFFICE

The newly refurbished Tema West Municipal Office of the NCCE was on Friday 11th September 2020, opened to the public at Community 2, Tema in the Greater Accra Region. The Overseas Commerce Ghana Limited, a logistics company undertook the renovation of the Office, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Boaz Amiel, at the opening ceremony, stressed on the need to create a conducive working environment for the NCCE to carry out its mandate of educating the citizenry on their civic rights and obligations. He noted that Overseas Commerce Ghana Limited recognises the important role NCCE plays in public education on pertinent national issues, hence the interest of the Company to support the refurbishment of the Tema West NCCE Office.

The Commission’s Director of Administration, Mrs. Dora Hammond, thanked Overseas Commerce Ghana Limited for the support adding that it will help create a suitable working environment for staff of the Commission to work efficiently.

NCCE’s Greater Accra Regional Director, Mrs. Lucille Hewlett Annan, also thanked Mr. Amiel and his Company for their support and called on other corporate entities in the country to support the work of the Commission.

Mr. Boaz Amiel and Mrs. Dora Hammond, assisted by Mrs. Lucille Hewlett Annan, later cut the tape to Commission the office.
