Democracy is not sustained by elections alone. While the ballot box remains a cornerstone of governance, true democratic vitality emerges when citizens actively participate in decisions that shape their daily lives. This was the fulcrum of the address of the Speaker of Ghana's Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, at the recently held Press Soirée by the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE).
