DEVOID OF INSULTS DURING CAMPAIGN- NCCE CAUTIONS POLITICIANS GHANAIANS

The Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Director of National Commission for Civic Education (N.C.C.E, Mr. Moses Kodwo Baffoe has urged political party leaders to ensure that their campaign messages for the upcoming 2020 general elections are devoid of insults. Mr. Baffoe made this statement during an interview at Newday TV in Takoradi.

He said that the Commission would not relent on its efforts in educating the citizenry massively on the need to tolerate one another’s political view, especially in this election year to maintain peace before, during, and after the general elections.

Miss Mavis Amoakohene a Senior Civic Education Office (SCEO), at the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Office, reminded citizens to keep on adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols. She entreated Ghanaians to continue wearing their nose masks, washing hands with soap under running water, using hand sanitizers in the absence of running water and soap.

She also advised them to eat well to boost their immune systems and observe social distancing to help prevent a second wave of the disease in the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal and the Western region as a whole.
