‘Be Good Ambassadors’- NCCE Staff tasked

The Deputy Chairman, Operations at the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Samuel Asare Akuamoah, has charged newly recruited staff of the Commission to exhibit high professionalism in the discharge of their duties. He urged them to be good ambassadors of the NCCE at their duty posts, in the communities they work in and entreated them to be courteous and respectful to whoever they may interact with within the course of their work.  He threw this challenge to the newly recruited staff at the opening of the Information Sharing Workshop for NCCE Newly Recruited Staff in Kumasi.

‘You have come at a time your skills are required to further the civic education drive in the country’ he said, charging them to perform and think positively in ways to contribute to the growth of the Commission.

Civic education, he explained ‘is not a try and error thing but a grassroots work’ and entreated the newly recruited staff to learn the dynamics of civic education in order to perform and give off their best.

Officials of the Commission present were Mr. Kojo Tito Voegborlo, Commission Secretary; Mr. Johnson Opoku, Director of Programmes, as well as Ms. Gladys Osman and Dr. Mohammed Imurana, Deputy Directors of Programmes respectively.

Ms. Osman who engaged the participants in a teaser session urged them to be inspired and dedicated in the discharge of their duties and to also be guided and measured in their comments about state institutions.
