The Lambussie District Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Paul Kwame Ganvu, has engaged LEAP beneficiaries on the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the premises of the Sonzzel Rural Bank in the Upper West region.
Participants were educated on the need to observe all safety protocols necessary to avoid the spread of the virus. They were encouraged to wear a face mask when stepping out of the house, practice good personal hygiene by washing their hands regularly with soap under running water and to use hand sanitizers throughout the day, avoid overcrowded places and to maintain the social distance protocol of keeping 2 meters apart.
The beneficiaries were also advised on the need to avoid stigmatising persons recovered from COVID-19.
