NCCE AND CHURCH OF PENTECOST, GHANA COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION AND SENSITISATION ON COVID-19 BEGINS

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) is collaborating with the Church of Pentecost to heighten awareness of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 among the general public to help contain the spread of the virus.

As part of the nationwide campaign drive, the Church of Pentecost is providing ten (10) cinema vans, fuel and lubricants, and drivers to the NCCE to help in the sensitisation of the populace on what COVID-19 is, symptoms and preventive measures to combat the spread of the disease amongst others. The NCCE for its part is providing a strategic communication plan, professional staff versed in the various local dialects in the operational areas and educational materials from the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Work has commenced in the Western, Greater Accra and Eastern Regions.
