Deputy Chairman,Operations

Samuel holds a Master’s Degree in Africa studies from the University of Ghana and a BA in Political Science from the same university. He also holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism,GIJ and a Certificate in Project Management and Strategic Leadership from Ghana training consulting  GTC, Putney Bridge London, united kingdom. Prior to joining the NCCE in 1994, Mr. Akuamoah worked as a Freelance Journalist with a number of media houses including the Ghana News Agency GNA. He is one of the pioneer staff of the NCCE at the Accra Metropolitan Office of the commission.  He was later transferred to the national headquarters where he rose  through the rank to become the Director of Programmes. He is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Commission in charge of Operations


 Commission Secretary

Mr. Tito holds a BA degree in Law and Political Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana. He was called to the Ghanaian Bar in October 1989. In 1991 he served as a Research Assistant to the Committee of Experts that drafted the 1992 (Fourth)Republican Constitution. He joined the NCCE in July 1993 as Deputy Director for Research and in May 2006 became the Commission Secretary.


Director of Administration
Mrs. Hammond holds  Bachelor of Arts  in Management and Sociology from the University of Ghana(1994) and Masters in Development Management from GIMPA (2008). She  joined the Commission  in February 1998 as an Assistant Research Officer and rose through the ranks to Deputy Director  Programes in 2012. She served  in the Asuogyaman, Ga west and Ashaiman offices of the Commission before her Current appointment as Director of Administration in 2014.

Director of Programme

Mr. Opoku graduated from University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in 1989 with a BA Degree in sociology and history. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from GIMPA. He joined the Commission in February 1996 as Regional Research Officer- Ashanti, until his current appointment as Director of Programmes, he had served in various positions and has risen through the ranks: District Director for Sekyere East and Ejisu Juaben in Ashanti; Deputy Greater Accra Regional Director and Deputy Director Programmes.

Director of Finance

Michael holds the intermediate certificate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICA). In addition, he has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from GIMPA. He joined the Commission in 1995 as Assistant Accountant and has risen through the ranks to become Director of Finance.

Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs

Joyce graduated from the University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, in 1993 with a BA degree in Book Industry. She joined the Commission in 1994. She has served in several capacities such as Assistant Research Officer, Civic Education Officer and Director District. She was also the Greater Accra Regional Director of the Commission between 2008 and 2012. Currently, she is the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs.
